Samantha Ladwig is a writer, book reviewer, instructor, and owner of the Writers' Workshoppe and Imprint Books in Port Townsend, Washington.
Her work has been published by New York Magazine, Bustle, Real Simple, Vice, Vox, Bust Magazine, Apartment Therapy, Huffington Post, SYFY, Birth Movies Death, IGN Entertainment, Bitch, Girls at Library, the 7th issue of Six Hens, Puritan Magazine's the Town Crier, and others.
Over the years, Samantha's work has landed her spots on podcasts like Tell Me About Your Mother, KPTZ Radio Port Townsend, and Historical Hotties, as well as presented her with opportunities to attend, and sometimes cover, events like AFI Fest, Telluride Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, and the Academy Awards.
Prior to owning a bookstore, Samantha was a Moving Image Cataloger at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She holds a BA in History from Seattle University and an MA in Archives and Records Management - with a focus on moving image archives - from Western Washington University.
