Samantha Ladwig is an essayist, writing instructor, and bookstore owner based on a small island in the Salish Sea.
Her work has been published by The Cut, Literary Hub, Vulture, Bustle, Vice, Real Simple, HuffPost, Vox, Brevity, CrimeReads, and others. She is a longtime book reviewer for BUST magazine, writing instructor with Writing Workshops and elsewhere, and co-owner of Imprint Bookstore in Port Townsend, Washington.
Previously, with an MA in Archives and Records Management from Western Washington University, she worked as a Moving Image Cataloger at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, as well as a film archivist at the University of Washington Libraries' Special Collections.
